5 Quick Tips for Healthy Living you can start today

1 – Start with a good breakfast

Don’t skip your breakfast Your body needs energy to start the day off after your long night. If you don’t have breakfast , the temptation to eat more unhealthy food during the day will be huge! Have a good healthy breakfast and you will not need any (unhealthy ) snack, the rest of your day.

2 – Drink water

Drink lots of water during the day. Flush away all the bad stuff in your body. It’s best to drink around 1,5 liters of water per day. This might sound like a lot but it is not that much over the day. Take a glass of water instead of a glass of pop. Drink a glass of water first thing in the morning before you start of with milk or coffee.

3 – Eat wisely

Lots of variation in your food is wise. By having variation in your meals, you will enjoy the right nutrition. Have lots of fruit and vegetables and try eat something different everyday. Eat slowly and small portions. Did you eat an unhealthy snack at lunch? Try eat healthy at night to offset the unhealthy lunch.

4 – Exercise

Exercise is very important!  Try to aim for at least 20-30 minutes a day of exercise. Go out and walk after dinner or take your bicycle. Make this your daily routine. You will not only feel good, it will also keep you in shape.

5 – Be happy and thankful

Never forget that being in a happy mindset and being thankful is the best way to stay healthy and live long! It might not always be easy in certain situations but always keep it in mind. If you feel stressful or not feeling happy at all, try to meditate or go do extra exercise. Put on your favorite music and enjoy what you will be doing at that moment to feel much better in a short time.
