Fortnite gives away $3 million to the first ever solo world champion, Kyle Giersdorf , 16 years old!
Unbelievable.. This was the first ever Fortnite mass event in New York.
Epic games held this event in New York’s Arthur Ashe tennis stadium. Kyle won this world cup by dominating from the start.
Kyle ended up with with a huge lead of 59 points over the second place winner. The second place with $1.8 million was for Harrison Chang.
I am not too sure about all of this as it will give ammo to my twin boy and girl. If nobody stops them at certain times , they will play 24 hours non-stop. I am afraid this will boost their excuses to play a little longer when told they have to stop and go to bed.
None of the less, this is a world changing and internet and the internet games are here to stay and there is lots of future (and money) in it.
